The Loxahatchee River is the only Federally designated wild and scenic river in
Florida. You start out in saltwater, and the further north you go, the fresher the water
becomes. This gives you the opportunity to catch a wider variety of fish. The Loxahatchee
River Charter requires a full day. Be sure and bring a camera for the unique wildlife
you'll see! Experience a different side of Florida in an unspoiled natural setting.
Note: A freshwater fishing license may be required for the
Loxahatchee River Trip.
Captain Charlie offers Bass fishing at the north end of Loxahatchee River.
This river starts out as saltwater, and gets fresher as you head north - it's the best of
both worlds! Fish for Snook, Jacks and more on the way on the way to the Bass!
All standard freshwater fishing charters include tackle, rods/reels and instruction if
necessary.
Don't miss out! Be sure to book soon, as prime dates are filling
fast!
Florida has a license law which requires you to purchase a Florida Freshwater Fishing
License. The license can be purchased at most tackle shops. The Captain cannot
carry a license to cover you for Freshwater fishing. Captain Charlie does have a
commercial license for Saltwater Fishing, so you are not required to purchase a license
for the saltwater charters.
