Captain Gene Strickland is a highly professional, USCG certified Captain, with over 25 years experience. He has fished the coastal and offshore waters extensively, and for the last 5 years has specialized in Flyfishing the shallows for Redfish and Tarpon.
"We have an unbelievable Tarpon run here. I put over 60 fish in the air last July, the largest being 160 pounds. A few years ago I caught a 225 pounder on bait. All on Fly!"
Well known and highly respected in the Tallahassee area, Capt. Gene offers Backcountry & Flyfishing charters on his 18' Master Angler. pastime, visit one or more of the pristine State Parks in and around Tallassee. For
instance, just 12 miles south you'll find Wakulla wilderness region. Here is where
you'll find it all! Explore the Apalachee Bay on the Gulf Coast, beaches, springs, forest,
wetlands, and rivers! You might even want to try a little sinkhole diving! 
Backcountry & Fly Fishing
Captain Gene offers Backcountry Charters and Flyfishing Charters in Tallahassee and surrounding areas. Using light-tackle to catch Redfish, Snapper, Tarpon, and more! Capt. Gene also specializes in Flyfishing. He will provide instruction if necessary, so your fishing trip will be an experience to remember, whether you are a beginner or a seasoned angler. All standard saltwater fishing charters include fishing license, bait, tackle, rods/reels and instruction if necessary.
