exhilarating saltwater fishing trip! Captain Charlie Walker is one of the most well-known
and well-respected captains in the Tampa Bay, Florida area. He has been fishing in Florida
since 1967, and has been a professional charter captain for over 10 years. Capt. Charlie
offers Offshore Fishing aboard the Southern Charm, a 25' custom sportsfishing boat. He has
captained three offshore party fishing boats in the Tampa Bay area, and has run several
privately owned boats and yachts over the years. Captain Charlie's tournament
participation is extensive, and in the past four years, he has won or placed in ten
Kingfish tournaments held from Treasure Island to Boca Grande.

Southern Charm
Southern Charm, a 25' sportsfisherman, was custom built for the local
fishing, particularly Kingfish. It is fully equipped with twin Volvo engines, a
top-of-the-line fish finder, two VHF radio-telephones, loran, complete USCG required
safety equipment, and quality rods and reels. It can carry up to four adults comfortably.

Offshore Fishing
Captain Charlie offers offshore charters for Grouper, Kingfish, Amberjack, Shark, Snapper, Cobia, Tuna, Dolphin, Black Sea Bass, Trigger fish, Porgies, Spanish Mackerel, and several other delicious species. For more detail, see Captain Charlie's fishing schedule below. He is experienced in many different angling methods, including trolling, bottom fishing, and drift fishing. He uses live or natural bait, or artificials, as required. Captain Charlie is happy to catch and release at the anglers' request, and young anglers are welcome, so you can make this a great family outing! If you're visiting the Tampa Bay area on business, get in a little play time! You owe it to yourself to experience some of the greatest fishing in the world. All you need to bring are the food and drinks that you want for the day. A catered lunch can be arranged with 24 hour notification. Standard 1/2 day, 3/4 day and full day fishing trips are available, but if you have a special request, be sure to contact Capt. Charlie.

Fishing Schedule
Winter (December - March) - Red and black Grouper, Black Sea Bass, several varieties of snapper, Trigger fish, Porgies, and several other delicious species.
- Spring (April - June)
- King Mackerel, Cobia, Spanish Mackerel, Tripletail, Amberjack, Tuna, several varieties of jacks and snappers, and many types of Shark.
- Summer (July - September)
- Spanish Mackerel, Mahi-mahi (dolphin fish), Amberjack, Barracuda, several varieties of snapper and Shark, and many others.
- Fall (October - November)
- King Mackerel, Cobia, Amberjack, Grouper, Scamp, Tuna, and several varieties of jacks
and snappers.
