Captain Don Davies is a professional guide with several years experience in
Florida's natural environment. Airboats are unique to
Florida, and nothing can quite compare to a Florida Fly-In with Capt. Don.
View firsthand some of the most awesome environments in Florida under Capt. Don's more
than capable supervision. In addition to being a USCG certified captain, he is a licensed
alligator handler and a reserve officer with the Florida Game and Fish Commission.
He is also a member of the Florida Disabled Outdoors Association, The Nature
Conservancy, and the Florida Wildlife Federation. A Wildlife Safari with Capt. Don will prove to be
educational, entertaining and thrilling....especially if Capt. Don decides to pick up an
alligator so you can get personally acquainted!

Airboat
Airboats are rather unique to Florida, and a Florida Fly-in with Capt. Don will be an adventure to remember! You'll fly aboard a state-of-the-art 260HP customized airboat, capable of speeds in excess of 60 miles per hour. You'll be thrilled as you fly and slide in the backcountry on your St. Johns River Wildlife Safari. A most unusual, educational, and exciting day is guaranteed for the person who loves to view wildlife in its natural habitat and doesn't mind getting wet or dirty!

St. Johns River Wildlife Safari
The St. Johns River Wildlife Safari is designed for those that love to view and photgraph wildlife and explore nearly inaccessible landscapes. Get up close and personal with the wilder side of Florida! If you love wildlife and don't mind the possibility of getting wet or dirty, this safari is for you! The Wildlife Safari is not recommended for the person who wants comfort and convenience.
Capt. Don wants your experience to be unique and unforgettable, so each safari is customized to meet your requirements. Whether you want to fly and slide in an airboat or cruise and view in a power boat this trip is for you! Walk in the marshes or photograph wildlife....you're the captain! You may change the trip at any time, and stop and explore whenever you wish. At your request your adventure can be videotaped for you.
All full day safaris include top-notch guide, ice, drinks, snacks, rain gear, sunscreen, insect repellent and instruction for up to two persons. Lunch available with prior notice. Airboat Wildlife Safaris include hearing protection.
